What this is
The Cost is a set of recorded conversations with people from different countries, asked the same few questions about what it costs to treat other people well.
The conversations are being gathered in Luxembourg during 2026. Anyone can sit for one. There are seven questions and it takes about twenty minutes. You'll see the questions when you sit down, not before.
The conversations become a short film. The film doesn't argue for an answer. It shows what people said, including the ones who disagreed with each other, and lets you decide what you think.
That's why we asked you first. When the film is finished, you'll be able to compare.
